A note from our seller:We really love our weekend/vacation retreat in the Berkshires, however, after 29 good years, my wife and I have decided it is time to simplify our lives. Our home, built in 1987, is really lovely with wide-board wood floors throughout, cathedral ceilings in the living room and master bedroom, fireplaces in the living room and sunroom, and large windows to enjoy the gardens in the summer or snow covered evergreens in winter. The interior architecture is very well conceived with a large master suite set apart from three other bedrooms for children and guests. The kitchen/dining area is open to the living room. The basement is large, fitted with storage cabinets and completely dry. The pool has a black liner in harmony with its woodland setting. The pole barn serves as a 2 car garage with a large open second floor, suitable for whatever you might wish. Finally, as apartment dwellers in Manhattan, we particularly appreciate how absolutely quiet it is on our 42 acres of trees, brooks and hills. It is with very mixed feelings that we have decided to put our home (and virtually all of its contents) on the market.
